ESAM quality

Quality is a metric we take very seriously and it is posted for all employees to see. We track our quality daily.

Some of our customers send us our "Quality Report Card" on a routine basis. We continually score very high and all reports are shared with our staff.

We maintain a UL and CSA certification, and in 2001 we made an investment to become ISO certified. On March 28, 2002 we became ISO-9001:2000 certified though the Perry Johnson registrars.

We practice the process of continuous improvement.

All wire/cable assemblies, harnesses and box builds undergo a thorough physical/visual inspection and are tested electrically 100% before they leave our factory. Wherever possible, 100% functional tests are also performed. The quality record we have permits many of our customers to go directly from their receiving dock to their stock or manufacturing line without the time and cost of incoming inspection.

All of our manufacturing employees go through a basic training and certification process on their first day at work. They are routinely recertified. We also provide additional training and certification levels for other processes within the factory.
